Jozani Short Tours

The Jozani Short Tour is the standard guided experience offered inside Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park. Lasting approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour, it's a convenient option for travelers who want a brief introduction to Zanzibar's most famous forest.

Your $25 ticket includes both the park entrance fee and a shared park guide. During the tour, you'll follow the main forest trail, visit the famous Zanzibar Red Colobus monkeys, and learn about some of the trees, plants, and wildlife found within the park.

Because this is the standard park tour, the guide is shared with other visitors. Depending on the day and season, groups can range from 30 to over 100 participants, which means the pace and commentary are designed for larger groups. During busy periods, you may also experience waiting times before the tour begins.
